Test Automation Engineer
Duration - Initial 12 Month Contract (potential for extension)
Location - Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Pay Rate - $65-70/Hour
Responsibilities:
- Work independently with minimal supervision, effectively managing time and priorities.
- Identify opportunities for automation enhancements and develop scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and improve automation scripts to optimize workflows.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, document, and resolve reported issues.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of software and scripts through rigorous testing and validation.
- Implement best practices in test development, coding, scripting, and code reviews.
- Design and manage complex data models to support business needs.
- Maintain clear and frequent communication with management, providing proactive status updates.
- Consistently demonstrate high performance and deliver measurable results.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering and analysis, planning, design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and HP Quick Test Professional, along with expertise in building and maintaining test frameworks.
- Some experience using Copilot or AI to automate testign within a sprint.
- Ability to tackle technical challenges to streamline testing cycles, accelerate product delivery, and enhance test frameworks, tools, and technologies used within the organization.
