Responsibilities
- Execute on provided daily priority list
- Work on work orders, back orders, stock items as indicated by planning department
- Work on equipment and work orders assigned by management/planner as required
- Perform routine production operations, which include filling, capping, labeling and/or packaging depending on department
- Assist in operation of various types of equipment used in filling, capping, labeling and/or packaging
- Assemble packaged kits
- Record work performed thoroughly and accurately
- Perform all work according to the established manufacturing procedures, using the proper equipment in a cleared, designated area
- Maintain proper housekeeping of work area and assist in equipment clean-up according to department guidelines
- Assist other production operators as department demands require
- Interact with all co-workers, QC inspectors, and management in a positive, supportive and cooperative way
- Adhere to all safety policies, practices and precautions with machinery, tools and devices
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and working supplies as instructed per work instructions and standard operating procedures (e.g. gloves, hair covers, etc) in compliance with GMP
- Maintain punctuality and regular attendance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math, reading, writing and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and manual dexterity required
- Able to follow instructions carefully
- 2+ years in a manufacturing environment using medium to large size equipment
- 1-2 years in related field (medical diagnostics) performing the same or similar functions
- Knowledge of GMPs and Work Instruction documentation helpful
