Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine laboratory testing and ensuring compliance with established protocols. Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct routine testing services following established procedures, such as sterility testing, bioburden assessment, aseptic filtration, and environmental monitoring.
- Prepare and dispense media while adhering to work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collect environmental samples from multiple cleanroom environments.
- Accurately input data related to routine testing.
- Follow SOPs and work instructions to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Perform laboratory support functions, including inventory management, equipment calibration scheduling, lab housekeeping, and receiving production samples and lab supplies.
- Assist in validation/revalidation activities for critical systems and equipment under supervision.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance, including executing preventive maintenance (PM) according to schedules.
- Update and maintain operating procedures to align with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), environmental, and safety regulations.
- Perform other incidental duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Moderate knowledge of laboratory processes and regulatory compliance (QSR, FDA, ISO).
- Basic mathematical competency, including decimals and percentages.
- Attention to detail and adherence to Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capability to provide constructive feedback in a professional and tactful manner.
- Compliance with all company rules, safety protocols, and environmental health and safety guidelines.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree in medical technology or vocational training preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or regulated environment.
