A highly skilled and experienced leader is needed to drive new product introduction (NPI) and logistics network strategy within a global supply chain. This role ensures the seamless integration of pharmaceutical products, including biologics, gene therapies, and cell therapies, into the logistics network while maintaining compliance, efficiency, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Product Introduction (NPI): Oversee logistics strategy for launching new therapies, ensuring compliance with GMP, GDP, and GCP. Develop logistics plans for clinical-to-commercial transitions and risk mitigation.
- Logistics Network Design: Optimize storage, transportation, and inventory strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance and product integrity. Partner with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and use data analytics to enhance efficiency.
- Relationship Management: Maintain partnerships with warehouses, carriers, and internal teams to resolve supply chain issues, present updates to leadership, and support long-term logistics strategy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong project management, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across functions
- Experience in pharmaceutical logistics, cold-chain management, and regulatory compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred
- 5+ years of experience in global supply chain or logistics within the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry
