Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing workers’ compensation claims, including conducting factual investigations, analyzing medical records, and advising on the need for additional medical information. You will also play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting employee health and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct health evaluations, provide initial diagnoses, and administer treatment to employees as needed.
- Oversee onsite health and environmental screening programs, including referrals for clinical evaluations.
- Interpret, document, and communicate screening results in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Advise Human Resources and Legal teams regarding employee work restrictions and potential medical accommodations.
- Maintain and manage OSHA 300 log, 301, and 300A in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- 5-7 years of experience in Occupational Health Nursing.
- Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation case management and regulatory compliance.
