Lab Technician III

We are working with a growing Contract Manufacturing Organization who primarily service the medical device industry, who are looking to hire a Lab Technician III
for their team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on lab experience who is detail-oriented and familiar with medical device testing and quality control. This opportunity is offered on a full-time and permanent basis, and is targeting an hourly rate of between $25-30/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Perform lab-based tasks including sampling, testing, measuring, recording, and analyzing results in biological and chemical life sciences.
- Calibrate and maintain lab test equipment, keeping detailed maintenance records.
- Conduct environmental monitoring of cleanrooms.
- Perform steam sterilization and prepare loads for EO sterilization.
- Mix chemicals and conduct package visual, seal strength, and integrity testing.
- Test medical devices for TOC, pH, optical density (OD), osmolality, viscosity, bioburden, and bacterial endotoxin (BET).
Qualifications:
- Experience in laboratory testing, sterilization, and quality control.
- Familiarity with medical device industry standards and cleanroom protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
